Iran’s ‘The Winner’ to vie at Indian Ahmedabad Int’l filmfest

Iranian short flick ‘The Winner’ has made its way to the Ahmedabad International Children Film Festival (AICFF) in India.

Directed by Ali Keyvan, the 15-minute flick will be among the films to compete at the 4th edition of the Indian event.

“Vahid's new bicycle, which his father prepared for the race, is very similar to his friend Ali Reza's stolen bicycle,” a brief synopsis for the film reads.

‘The Winner’ has already toured a number of global events, including the International Film Festival for Children and Youth Awards in Isfahan and the International Film Festival for Children and Youth Kinolub in Poland.

The 4th edition of the AICFF, also set to play host to ‘Loupetoo’ directed by Abbas Askari, will take place on December 24-29.
